About Me

My name is Sharon, I am turning 46 in March, And Im married to my wonderful Husband of 28 years in April 2013. And I'm Mom to 2 wonderful children.  My daughter was married a little over a year ago and has recently given my my first grand child in Feb 2011 and expecting their 2nd in Feb 2013.

I have only had my blog a little over a year and only a year ago got up enough nerve to join the online scrapping world.  So Im just starting to venture in to lots of new areas.

I have been crafting all my life, doing one form of crafting or another.  When I was young and in the 7th grade,  I had to wear a back brace so instead of PE,  I took wood shop.  And that started my love of building.  I have done a little bit of welding, and Iron work, Metal bending, Wood burning.  I over the years have done a little playing with wood. Then with puffy paint and making vest for every holiday for my daughter.  And then tried some Ceramic paining.   But in the last few years.  My health has gotten worse and I had to give up wood building.  So I traded that for Scrapping.  Paper weighs a lot less unless you hoard paper. LOL!.

So I started Scrapping in 2006, How I got in to this.  It was my Daughters 16th birthday and she asked for scrapbooking supplies for her present so she could scrap her highschool years instead of buying a yearbook.  So I had no clue what scrapbooking was.  Did a internet search.  And visited Joanns and Michaels.  Well,  Let me tell you, I went crazy buying stuff for her.  And decided to buy a few things for me to try.  And I was hooked from there.

My first cutter was a Baby Cricut, But it didnt do what I wanted, So I sold it and bought a blue Craft Robo,  And it was great. I then bought KNK GE to work with it, and it was now awesome,  So I purchased a larger KNK.  So I have a KNK groove.  And just recently I purchased a Cricut Expression.  So yep, I still have 3 machines. Update, Sold my blue Craft Robo. Down to two now.

I truly enjoy seeing what I can come up with and the finished creations gives me a lot of satisfaction.  With my health issues.  Crafting allows me to enjoy some thing with out leaving my house .  And I am always so excited to show you my finished creations.  I try every thing I come across.  Love to use multiple items and techniques in each Card, Project and Scrapbook layout I make.    And with a new grand child.  I will be trying some new things.  Should be very interesting. LOL!.
