Hurricane Headed to East Coast!

Just wanted to wish everyone to be safe with the Hurricane headed to the East Coast.  We live in Central Florida and it is supposed to miss us except for a little rain and wind.  But its headed more North.  So please make sure you listen to the warnings.  And prepare and evacuate if told to.  And please plan for your fur babies.

We are just stocking up on water in empty clean Cat Litter Containers. We fill these with water for the toilet as we have a well and if the power goes out. We have no water.  And the gas grill has gas to cook with.  We took the pool floats out of the pool and picked up some stuff that could blow around. So we are pretty much ready for some wind and rain.  Just grateful the worst part is supposed to pass up.  But that could change at any minute.

As for crafting. I still haven't been in my craft room in 6 weeks, Man, that is so odd for me.  But I have been thinking about it the past few days. So you never know. I could be in there soon. LOL

Please be safe and take care all.

I'm Taking A Break!

Just wanted to let all my wonderful blog readers and followers know that I'm taking a break from Scrapping for a while. I'm going to give myself a month away and regather my love of scrapping. I have way to much stuff to just give it up. LOL!

Have you every thought about how much you have invested in your scrap stuff.  DON'T  its scary, LOL.   Just start adding up how much each spellbinders set, Stamp set, paper kit, Cutter Machine you own adds up to. WOW!.  Yep, to invested to just give it up.  LOL!

I have been dealing with a lot of stress, depression and other things.  And have just lost my desire to craft. (I hope some new meds help with that)  I haven't been in my craft room since July 16. Which is really odd for me as I used to be in there every day. I have put my file store on hold for now so I dont miss any orders.

I want to thank the CT girls for all their wonderful creations made working with my files. And for being there to support me though many changes the past few months.   And for their great friendship and hope that continues.  I know they have wonderful new ventures and will be very successful  as all their creations are just wonderful.  Make sure you continue to visit their blogs and support these wonderful crafters.  Lenae, Marie, Michelle

So if you see my post will be pretty slow for a few weeks you know why.  I hope you all enjoy your summer and get more crafting done when the little ones go back to school.

See ya in a few weeks. Oh yeah! Hubby just told me last night he put in for 2 more weeks vacation for the end of the month.

Thanks for stopping by!

"Hibiscus" Layout

This is a layout I did and submitted to "Ginger Scraps Street" Ezing.  I did this layout back in May and couldn't post it till July. And totally forgot to post it. So here it is.

The round Fancy Mat is one of my files RM00147.  You can purchase that set of  fancy mats here.  Or by clicking on the tab up top to Visit my Store.

These are pictures of my "Hibiscus" bushes I took 2 years ago.  We had a bad frost the past 2 years.  And I lost all but 3 of the 8 bushes we planted.  They are now coming back this year.  And doing good.  One just had a beautiful yellow flower with a red throat.  I didn't get a picture of it because by the time I seen it on the side of the house.  It was on its way out. So I'm on the look out now for a new flower.  I will have to do a better job of protecting these beauties this year.  You would think in lower Central Florida, we wouldn't have to worry about bad frost.  But we do.  The past 2 years have been bad.  So I'm stocking up on old blankets to  use this coming year.

If you would like to read the July Issue of the "Ginger Street Scrap" Ezing. Here is the link.  My layout is on page 28.

MTC Tutorials & Videos Do you have a Link?

Now that I'm using MTC more.  As it cuts to all my cutter machines.  And it fixes a lot of issues with each.  And not to mention all the awesome Updates.  I have added a tab to the top of my blog to make it easy to find other places that have MTC videos and Tutorial.    You can find that up top  or you can click "HERE"

If you need the new update 3.3.3  Or just want to try out the MTC software for free (note it will cut lines in your pojects untill you register).  You can get that by going to this link.  MTC.  Also if you purchase form me.  You get $10 in your choice of my cutting files for free.

I so appreciate all that Andy and Brian do for us cutter addicts.  But I don't have several hours to spend watching the webinars.  So I'm looking for blogs that have short videos and tutorials.  I love Sandy's (Short and to the point) Videos and hoping she makes more for the MTC.  And Rob at Scrappy Dew has some awesome videos and tutorial in the Classroom.

If you have some videos and tutorial and want to be added to my list.  Drop me a email with your link to rsmobley85 at gmail dot com.  And I will add you to the list with your link.

Hope y'all have a crafty day.
