Where to buy my files?

I have had several people ask me where to get my files after the end of the month as Im leaving VDBC.

I have added a new paypal store front button to my blog. (Left side under "About Me") Where you can purchase all my files.  And just so you know. My prices are at a  lower price now that I'm selling them on my own.

I changing all my store packaging, redoing the pictures and changed the image on my TOU's  so they all match my blog header.  Im slowing going to be adding all 157 files I currently have, and several, I have never added to the store.  And any new ones I may make.  So be watching for updates soon.

If you need one of my files before I get it loaded as im working with most recent files first. Just shoot me a emaill or leave me a comment with file number, and I will get it added to the store ASAP.

I have asked 3 of my Creative Team members Lenae, Marie (new blog link) and Michelle to stay on as my CT members and they were super happy to stay on.  You will continue to see their creations on my CT blog here.

When your on the CT blog, if you look at the labels on the right.  You will see the files are listed by File number.  So if your looking to see what you can create with that file for inspiration.  Just click the file number and read all the post under the number.  The CT members have done a wonderful job working with my files.

If you have any questions or issues with the paypal store font. Just ask.  You can email me at rsmobley85@gmail.com.

I'm a Featured Blogger! On "GettingCricky"

How exciting is this.   Im a featured blogger on  "GettingCricky" with K Andrew blog.

Its such an honor to have a friend like Kristal that wants to feature my blog.  She is posting a creation created by one of my super talented CT members.  "MichelleMyBelles Creations"

Baby Cards "Boy and Girl "

These two cards are made from the same cutter file I have in the June Grab bag at the VDBC.  I used my Baby Mesh File RM00163

I used the same Baby Mesh file for both of these cards.   Just changed the color of the card-stock.  I use CB embossing folder "Swiss Dots"  to emboss the mesh. and used DCWV "Nana's Nursery" paper pack for the pattern paper.  The stamped image and border are from Just Rite Stamps.  And embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

You could also cut this file in neutral colors like Yellow and Green to use for a baby shower or gift.

Thank you Google for Great Customer Service!

Okay, now that I have my Gmail email, Blogger, Android phone, and Picasa back.    I had to go in and change my Firefox Thunderbird with the new passwords as well so it can forward my email from Gmail.  So make sure you go in and change that as well.

Wow, now that I got my mail.  I can see a lot of Delivery Status emails.   Thank goodness Google was on top of this and shut every thing down before there was a big mess and we lost every thing.

If you happened to get a email from me regarding getting a new laptop.  Dont open it,  Its part of that mess.

Hope you all have a wonderful day,  And celebrate the fathers in your life.

Im going to be a crafting fool this next week.   so be looking for new creations to hit the blog.

Panic! Blog was Disabled!

Wow, was I in a panic last night.

I went to check my email and didn't have any, so checked my google chat, it was logged out,  I tried to log in, it said I didnt have a gmail account.  I checked my blog, It said it was deleted.  Panic set in fast.

After trying the password recovery, it said my account had been disabled by gmail because of suspicious activity.   And it gives you a link to fill out a lot of stuff to prove its you.

It will ask you for your email,  but the email isnt working.  So when you get to the the part to recover your password.  It will ask if you can access your email.  Say no, and put in another email.  Lucky for me, Im able to get in to my husbands email.

Then it will ask you for the email addresses of 5 emails you email to most.

Then it will ask you for 4 google apps.  And you need to know the Month, Day and Year.  Are they crazy.  We. It says at the very top before you start,  to try and give the closest dates.  So in the list of apps.  I chose my phone, its an google android, and just recently got it. so I was pretty close on the date of that,  The rest I just guessed at.  Like, if you have a gmail account, what month, day and year,  or Picasa, month, day and year.  Or any other Gmail app.  You need at least 4 so they can verify you.

Then you will need your blog url so make sure you now it exactly.

And you will need to send the reqeust in on the same computer you usually log in to your account on.  So that it can ping your IP and make sure its you.

Wow, this was so scary. I have medical issues that cause me to have no memory. And this was a stuggle.  I had to fill it out several times till it submitted.

Then got a email to my recovery (hubby's) email.  Saying they would get back to me after the investigation with in 24 hours.  And whew.  It was only 5 minutes.  I got a email with instructions.  Like, run several virus, malware cleaners.  Then links and instructions to get a new pass word.

Wow, it was some work and very scary.  But im now back up and running.  And didnt loose any thing.

It seems that there were over 200K Google Android user that this happened to.  Some kind of gmail virus.

So if you cant access your blog.  And it says it been deleted or some thing.  Dont panic,  Just make sure you write down all this info you need.  To help you out,  And have a back up email. Or sign up for them to send text to your sell number to get your reset going.

Hope all is doing well.

Changes going on!

Hello All,

Some of you may have heard rumors this past week.   But if not.  You will be seeing some changes on my blog.  I'm going to be cleaning it up a bit and moving things around.

I have decided to leave VDBC.  File designing quality files is a lot of work and I have been doing it for about 5 years and really going hard at it the past year and half and I'm really just burned out on this.  And have been struggling to keep up with it since January.  So Im taking a break from File designing for a while.  And will only be making a file when I need some thing.

So my files will only be available for purchase at VDBC until June 30th. I have no plans to put them any where else right now.

I want to thank Chris for every thing she has done for me and allowing me to be a part of the "More Team" I have enjoyed my time there.  And thank every one that has supported me in this venture.  I hope you continue to visit my blog for crafty inspirations.

Im going to be working more on actual crafting for me and scrapping my new grandson and making creations for my DT position on the Flying Unicorn DT. So you will be seeing more creations for fun now instead of selling purposes and possibly ocassional freebies.

I have been busy with layouts and cards, but cant post them yet,  So in a few weeks, you will see some my new cards.  If I can get past this cold I have had for over a week now, I might be able to get some thing crafty posted.  We will see what the rest of the week brings.

So stay tuned, more crafty creations to come.

Slow Posting week

So sorry every one.

It's been a slow posting week for me.  I have had a cold since last Sunday,  and it dont seem to be getting any better yet.

My AC in my mobile home blew up on Tuesday so its been hot and miserable to say the least with a cold and the heat here in Florida.   I went and got a window AC from my brothers garage and my Neighbor let us borrow one he has for Hurricane use.  So I actually got a good night sleep last night,  but now the sinus pressure is a real bear, ya know.

So im hoping to feel better next week, so I can get back to crafting.  Im also working on changing several things.

So be watching for new annoucments in the next few weeks.

Have a great day,
Sharon

New Card for MoJo Monday

Today,  I made a new card using the sketch for MoJo Monday from Flying Unicorn.

Here is my take on this sketch using the June Kit from Flying Unicorn. I inked all edges with Creamy brown Chalk eye inks.  And I hand punched the holes and hand sewed both layers.  The Oval with Scallop mat is spellbinders.  Flowers are from the June Kit. The Humming birds are a stamp from Inkadinkado. I heat embossed and painted with Pearlex and Future Floor wax.

This is how I hand punch my card to be able to hand sew it.  I use my Tim Holtz ruler.  And use 2 needles to hold it in place so it dont slide.

If you line it up correctly on the edge of the paper and pay attention to the holes on each end.  when you move your ruler around, you will have a evenly punched card and you just hand sew it.

This is what your finished card will look like, you can either leave it like it is.  Or sew with floss or thread.
Here is how I colored my heat embossed stamped images of the Humming birds.  I take a clear acrylic block to use as my pallet.   I fill a aqua brush with Future Floor Wax.  I drop one drop on the acrylic block, and dip the aqua brush tip in the Pearl Ex and mix it in the drop of wax.  Stir around and paint.  To clean the tip just use some water and  paper towel.  And use your next color.  And wash the Clear blog when your done.

Hope you enjoyed this card and mini tutorial.

June KOM for Flying Unicorn

Woo Hoo!  Today is June 1 and we can now show you this beautiful Kit of the Month for Flying Unicorn.

You get all this in this awesome kit.  Its filled with tons of Papers, Flowers, Chipboard, Pearls, Lace and a adorable Mini album.   This is such an awesome value  You can check out all the details and Items included with this kit on the Store Home page. And you can purchase the June KOM "Treasured Moments".  But you better hurry,  This kit is extremely limited to number in store.  So don't miss out.

Here is my layout I created with this beautiful Kit.

This is a picture of my wonderful FIL and MIL.  This was taken back in 1999.  My MIL now has Alzheimer's which is so sad.  She was a wonderful water color artist and taught classes and had her own gallery and sold lots of pictures.  I have always love her work.  I still have her birthday cards she water colored and sent to me many years ago.  I have them framed. And in my craft room where I can view them every day.

These are a small fraction of the beautiful flowers in this kit.  And you can see the light blue pearls.  The Swirl is chip board included in the kit. I covered with paper from the kit and inked the edges with brown and green Chalk ink.  I took a 2 of the ivory flowers and water misted and crinkled them for a more distressed look. And the little acrylic bird is also in the kit, you get 3 of these.

Side view of the above Flowers. I looped the light pearl string in and out of the flower cluster and under the chipboard.

Here are some more of the beautiful hand made flowers included in this kit.  Alda's Hand Made Flowers are to die for.  So beautiful.  I took one of the cream flowers inked the edges just a little and then water misted them to add a little color to match the center rose.  Again, this is another piece of chipboard in the kit covered with kit paper and inked.  The Pearls are also in the kit.

Side view of the above Flowers.  Cut little piece of the pearl string and hot glued in the flower mix.

These are just 2 of the 5 miniature words in the kit.  I used Crackle paint on these.

Here is a close up of the crackle paint, It was the same color as the Cream Bazzill Bling so I used some Adirondack ink to color it so it stands out more.

Look at this beautiful lace that is in the kit. Its just beautiful. And more of the pearls in the kit.

And if you wondering about the White frame.  This is one of 3 new file Collections I just added to my store last night.  This one is part of Fancy Mats 1 RM001

This set of Fancy Mats matches my Fancy Borders 1 RM00144 that was in the May Grab bag. If you missed the grab bag. You can purchase this file in my store. I will update the link to that file as soon as its loaded to the store.

I hope you enjoyed this June KOM reveal.  This is the first kit for the Flying Unicorn available to the online community.  And quantity is very limited so don't let it get away.

Quick Shout out.  New VDBC Grab Bags up. And Im one of the Designers in this months bag.  So be looking for post on this soon. But here is the link to grab it. Now. June Grab bag VDBC
