Rubber Stamp Storage

Edited to add bigger clear pictures so you can see the labels.

I have spent the past few days organizing all my stamps (Well, still have to do all the wood mounted in drawers and buckets). I could never find what I was looking for and didn't know what I had when I went looking for new ones. So I ordered some really nice Super Jewel DVD Boxes. (Its the 3rd one down on that link page). And they work great, so much better quality then the regular CD cases, I have tried, and these Hold more stamps per case.

So One whole set of Inkadinkado (Im addicted to!)stamps fit in one case. I then used the clear sheet with the image or stamped them on a sheet of paper to put in the binder.

I then made a list in excel, listed all the stamps by category instead of name of set. So there are category's like(Alpha/Number, Baby, Beach,Birthday,Flowers, Christmas. Etc.) Then listed if it was in a CD, DVD, CTMH, See D's or SU. Put all in alphabetical order by category. And gave the Alpha Numeric system of, Lets say you have 4 sets of Alpha/Numbers, the first would be A1, second A2, third A3, and last A4. Then Next category would be Baby B1, Beach C1 and on, when you run out of Alpha for category's, you just double up the alpha so that would be AA1, AA2, etc. This way, you can continue to add sets, in the same category's, and the number can continue for ever.

I printed out the excel sheet, and ran it through the zyron right side down so it was sticky on the front, then cut each strip and attached it to the inside of the cases so they don't rub off, It look nice and organized.

I now know every stamp I have, and will just flip through the binder that is organized by category, look at the letter of the case and know where it is.

All unmounted stamps and sets In DVD cases and Indexed

See D's Stamps in order and indexed

Hope you can see the pictures, If you have any questions or comments please post or email me, I will be happy to help you out.

KNK Groove

For Christmas this year, I upgraded from my Blue 8" Craft Robo which I have used so much along with KNK GE software. To the Newest member of the KNK Family. The 13" KNK GROOVE. Its absolutely the greatest machine. It has more cutting force (800) thats more then the older KNK, Cricut and Pazzles , so you can cut thicker materials, like chipboard, Acrylic, Fun Foam, Balsa, you can also Emboss metal, Cut Vinyl for your cars or to decorate your walls. I just cant tell you how many things you can do with this machine and new software. And the lower price just cant be beat. Its only $525.

But I can tell you, if you want the best service out there for these machines. If you would like to buy one of these machines, You need to contact "Sandy McCauley". She writes the manuals on these machines and they are so helpful. She is always around to help on the yahoo groups. She has a bunch of free videos you can watch to see what the software does on her blog.

Let Sandy know I sent you please (Sharon Mobley /RSMobley Designs). Im sure you will be seeing more of my file creations to come, I love to make paper piecings. Im also working on a Clown swap on the GE Group, and also going to cut new decals out of vinyl on my KNK Groove for my Vintage 85' Coleman Chesapeake pop up we are renovating.

Thanks for stopping by,

First BIA Project

This is my first Bind It All project with my new Pink BIA2. I like to garden to relieve stress and help support the grocery bill. So I created this book to keep track of all the Plants and Veggies, how to grow them, Problems and treatments.

On the cover I used a sunflower paper pack from Dollar tree and used yellow stickles on the petals, and green stickles on the leaves. The titles are simple KNK files I cut on my new KNK. (I will post and tell y'all about that next).

On all the pages I used Green DCWV card stock, Yellow Joann's Card stock, Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilaties, Corner stickers, Stamped Images, water colored with Tombow markers, SU Tag punch and KNK titles.

This page stamp "Sunflowers in Wheel barrow" PSX G-1756 1995

This stamp "To Some one Special (Removed)" from SU Feathered Friends set

This stamp "Miss you (Replaced with Flowers)" SU Feathered Friends set

This stamp "Thank You (Replaced with Herbs)" SU Feathered Friends set

This stamp by Great Impressions #J42 (Don't know name)

This stamp "Thinking of You (Removed)" by SU Feathered Friends

Back with same paper from Dollar tree kit

Hope you like it as much as I do. Im sure it will be handy for all kinds of information.

Jumpin Bass Card

I made this card a couple months ago. Trying to use a brayer and that didnt go so well so I used sponges. The Bass was stamped then heat embossed, colored with Jill's Tombow markers, then went over it with Versafine maker and heat embossed with clear embossing power to protect the image while sponging ink on the back ground. The sun was done with the negative of a circle punch, Then trees and water weeds stamped in 2 colors of green. Those that know me, know this card is so me. I like it, but hope I get better at this technique soon. I sold this Card

Blue Christmas Card

I made this card for Christmas. I started with stamps, and heat embossed with silver EP. I Ink sponged the edges, the blue is a little dark, but I only have one blue ink pad, so it had to do. This was my first go at sewing the edge of the card. I used CB embossing folder for the mat, and some stickles on the Snowflakes, I made with KNK GE. I sold this card.

Give Thanks Card

Here is a card I made a few months ago. I start off with the simplest of plans, but it never ends up that way. I wish I knew how to make simple but beautiful cards, I might be able to get more done that way. It always takes me days to weeks to do a card. But I always love the finished card. What do you think?

I used fiskars "Turkey Lurkey" stamps, Studio G for the scarecrow ,heat embossed, water colored with Tombow markers. The tree and leaves are a KNK file I designed, , Ribbon, Eyelets, and Inked the back ground with sponges as I don't have the hang of the brayer yet.

Hello and Welcome to my blog

Im not a huge blogger, so I wont be posting to much. I figure this is a good way to remember things as I don't have a good memory. I "Try" to be some what crafty in my spare time when I'm not sick or feeling really bad or dealing with daily headaches.

I Started scrap booking but working with pictures if not my thing, so I do mostly cards and some projects. The good thing about card making, is you do it when you can, and you dont have to leave the house, which is good as I don't leave the house that often.

I started out with a Blue Craftrobo and KNK GE which I love. I bought a new KNK Groove for Christmas and its just "Groovy" LOL!

When I can, I will post my card creations, but it takes me days to get them done, as I do a little at a time when I'm feeling up to it.

Thanks for stopping by,
